What You Need

STEP 1 – Getting your bales and setting up
As with traditional horticulture , maximum sunlight is central . I placed my Basel more or less in the middle of my garden where it would get a full day ’s supplying of sun . When place the bale where you want it , be sure to place it “ cut side up ” . STEP 2 – condition the bale

After I condition my Basle , it was clip to establish my transplantation . I choose a 4″ pot of Citrullus vulgaris seedling and a good for you tomato plant transplantation . I press the transplant and mix down a little to verify it was firmly in station .
STEP 5 – Watering

I also watered the bale area around the plants , to keep the whole straw bale moist . UPDATE : In just over three weeks since I constitute , the watermelon plants have grow over and down the bale , and are begin to crawl around . They have emphatically study off . The tomato industrial plant remains healthy , but has n’t really taken off . I ascribe this to the oppressive heat and having planted it way later than recommended , as bring up earlier .
