The other day I lamented to my gardening buddies on Twitter that I already have dozens of dandelion blooming in my lawn . Dozens , I say . The response was part . quite a little of people sympathized , but an equal number offered suggestions for how I could make purpose of the dandelions , be it salad , an opportunity to devote a neck of the woods kid to deadhead , or my favourite , making blowball wine-colored .
I ’ve always love you could make dandelion wine , but always think it ’d be complicated and require specialized equipment that would n’t suit into my budget . Well , Lisa Munniksma of Hobby Farms magazine in Kentucky pointed me to a recipe on their website that does n’t seem complicated at all ! I remember I ’ll go home now and pick some blowball … .
