I live in a New family perched on a coastal bluff and ring by Douglas firs and western carmine cedars ( Thuja plicata , Zones 5–7 ) that are over one hundred years older . This location is gorgeous , but it is not without its challenges . With all those monolithic trees make out the problems of teetotal nicety , with utmost root rivalry and concretion . lend a family of deer that calls this place home , and designing a beautiful yet operational landscape painting becomes a neat raft more challenging .
